Acceptance of Terms

By engaging American Asset Lenders for flooring services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Service Description

American Asset Lenders provides professional flooring installation and refinishing services including:

• Hardwood floor installation
• Engineered wood flooring installation
• Laminate and vinyl flooring installation
• Tile flooring installation
• Floor refinishing and restoration
• Floor repair and maintenance

Estimates and Contracts

All work is performed based on written estimates or contracts. Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified. Final pricing may vary based on actual site conditions and material requirements discovered during work.

Payment Terms

Payment terms are specified in individual contracts. Generally:

• 50% deposit required to begin work
• Final payment due upon completion
• We accept checks and major credit cards
• Late payments may incur additional charges

Project Timeline

Timelines are estimated and may vary based on:

• Material availability and delivery
• Weather conditions
• Site preparation requirements
• Change orders requested by client

We will communicate any timeline changes as soon as possible.

Material and Workmanship

We use quality materials and employ skilled craftsmen. However:

• Natural materials may have variations in color and grain
• We warranty our workmanship as specified in individual contracts
• Material warranties are provided by manufacturers
• Client approval is required for any substitutions

Site Preparation

Clients are responsible for:

• Clearing all furniture and personal items from work areas
• Ensuring adequate access to the work site
• Providing adequate electrical power and lighting
• Protecting existing fixtures and finishes

Changes and Cancellations

Changes to contracted work may result in additional charges. Cancellation policies:

• 7 days notice required for cancellations
• Deposit may be non-refundable for cancellations
• Change orders require written approval

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the contract price. We are not responsible for:

• Damage to items not properly protected
• Pre-existing structural issues
• Hidden utilities or structural elements
• Acts of God or unforeseen circumstances

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will be resolved through:

• Good faith negotiation between parties
• Mediation if negotiation fails
• Arbitration as agreed in the contract
• Legal proceedings in Oregon courts if necessary
